Looking for a challenging and interesting Systems Operations Engineer role where you will be able to enhance and grow your career within a monitoring and capacity environment. As a senior member of the team you will be directly involved in supporting the Datacentre infrastructure manager, helping to define process and policy as, well as acting as a potential reference point for other members of the team. Additionally, this is an exciting time as we are cleaning house with several large refresh projects planned for the next 2 years enabling the candidate to really get their teeth into driving change within the business. Responsibilities required for Infrastructure Engineer · Resolving 3rd line support issues. · Support your line manager in the design and implement various new solutions. · Support and mentor members of the team. · Provide on-going Physical and Virtual machine support and maintenance. · Support and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Suite (where needed) Skills required for Infrastructure Engineer · Strong experience dealing with stakeholders · Strong presentation experience · Vendor management · Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2012 R2 · VMWare 6.5 · Microsoft Exchange 2010 and 2016 · HP Blade Enclosures / Virtual Connect / HP SIM / HP Servers · Cisco Unified Computing · Active Directory · Disaster Recovery · IIS · Fail-Over Clustering Desirable · Experience with monitoring tools e.g. Nimsoft, Dynatrace, Solarwinds, Nagios etc. This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89933868
