Overview
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre, commercial lawyer to join the commercial legal team of this international media business. You will be responsible for negotiating a broad range of contracts and advising on a wide variety of issues. This will include digital, licensing, outsourcing, consumer protection, e-commerce, litigation, software, IP and marketing matters. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong academic background and trained at a highly regarded law firm with 3 to 5 years' experience. You will primarily be a commercial lawyer, with a solid understanding of intellectual property, digital and advertising /marketing issues. You will have the ability to work autonomously, think strategically and creatively and communicate clearly and precisely. You must be enthusiastic, proactive, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
