Resource Manager at City Law Firm – c£70k plus benefits We’re currently recruiting for a newly created Resource Manager position at one of our global law firm clients. They are based in the heart of the City, but have an extensive global footprint, so alongside your work in London, there will also be the opportunity to travel across their international offices This role is perfect for an experienced Legal Resource Manager / Work Allocation Manager looking for an autonomous role that they can grow and develop, whilst integrating and implementing the function across the firm. You’ll be able to take full ownership of the function rather than just looking after it for one practice group. Main duties will be; Managing the work allocation and strategic planning across the practice groups. Acting as the main point of contact for all resourcing requests and queries. Providing regular updates to the COO and heads of departments, and working with them to manage resources. Optimising the allocation of work and the use of resources based on pipeline and fee earner forecasted capacity. Manage the current work allocation tools, ensuring they are maintained and accurate. Assist and advise group heads and HR with recruitment advice surrounding skills gaps and capacity expectations. What they are looking for is a confident, superb communicator with excellent project management skills who has at least 3 years’ experience working within a similar role in a commercial law firm.
