Marstons Holdings are eager to recruit a Solicitor NQ-2 PQE to provide legal advice on Litigation and Data Protection matters. And to provide general legal advice and support to the Board of Directors and others. Core duties of your new role As an In-house Solicitor you will: Litigation advice, including pre-action, claimant and defence work in the small claims, fast track and multi-track to trial; Settlement and negotiation; Drafting correspondence and court documents to a high standard; Applying the General Data Protection Regulations and the Data Protection Act 2018; To support the Data Protection Officer in their deputy, monitoring of DPO correspondence and ensure ICO guidelines and deadlines are achieved, as well as managing our regulatory relationship with the ICO Candidate requirements In relation to this Solicitor vacancy, the firm wishes to speak to applicants who demonstrate: NQ - 2 years of PQE Confidence and the ability to communicate to a very high standard at all levels Have the ability to make successful decisions and have gravitas and credibility Prior knowledge of the CPR and civil claims is a must, either in private practice or in-house. Enforcement sector experience; data protection issues and handling a litigation caseload are highly desirable.
