Overview
Support Worker, Chippenham and surrounding area A wonderful opportunity for a bubbly and uplifting agency support worker in an ongoing role helping to support and enrich the lives of adults with autism. Working as a support worker in a lovely setting that is dedicated to helping adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as they can and make their own decisions. This position involves supporting clients to activities and outings, to help clients take part in day to day activities, to promote independence and to encourage the client in their daily life. 24 hour support with a range of different shifts available. As a support worker helping to enable clients to access the community and participate in leisure, recreational and developmental activities wherever possible. Applicants should have certificated training in social care as well as experience in care and support. Experience of working with autistic clients would be an advantage, or similar care experience.
