Overview
Electrical Designer Manchester £28.50 per hour LTD £6 per hour travel allowance eligibility required Contract until December 2020 Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a global manufacturing company who operate within the Defence industry. They are currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join their team in Manchester on a contract basis until initially December 2020. The Electrical Designer will develop and produce CAD models, drawings and other Technical Outputs consistent with the contractual requirements to meet target dates and budget demands (Delivery to time, quality and budget). They will develop and draw 2D Diagrams, utilising the relevant tool-set. 3D Integration within the Product Model. Produce drawing outputs from the 3D Model and perform self-verification of own work. The Individual The successful candidate will ideally hold an HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Have experience of design in one or more of the following industries: Defence, Power Industry or Oil and Gas or similar industries. Demonstrable ability at utilising 2D CAD design packages and have the ability to apply the relevant Engineering processes regarding the integration, of the relevant, systems and equipment within the 3D CAD Product Model. They will also be able to show knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Electrical Cableways, Systems, Control and Instrumentation.
