Overview
Our client, a globally renowned manufacturer in their field, are looking to recruit a Service Engineer on a permanent basis. Service Engineer role: Carry out any requests for service, calibration, commissioning and client training in the UK and worldwide from management, service department manager, sales, projects and technical department. The Service Engineer person: Electrical bias Served a full apprenticeship Flexible with working away PLC experience Service Engineer job details: Based at the head office in Rochdale, you will service equipment at sites across the UK and worldwide (80% UK work, 20% worldwide). Pay starts at around £35k per year for the first 12 months, before increasing to £37k if targets are met. 60-70% of time is site based, where an additional £3.75 p/hr is added on top of your pay. The role is 37 hours with overtime available thereafter. Average OT per week is 10-30 hours when away on sites or abroad & 5-6 hours when office based. £50k OTE.
