Overview

We are currently recruiting a Qualified Financial Accountant to work for a market leading national managed service provider based near Wakefield. This is a growth role, providing support and deputising for the Financial Controller, making key financial accounting decisions for the team and business. Duties include:- Production of annual statutory accounts Preparation of VAT returns Monthly Bank reconciliations Balance sheet analysis, modelling and forecasting Development and review of financial KPIs Liaising with auditors Financial advisory responsibilities - presenting key financial data, highlighting risk and proposing corrective measures Deputising for the Financial Controller, making key financial decisions Managing a small accounting team as part of the wider finance team Working with the payroll team Essential requirements: Fully qualified with a minimum of one - two years post qual experience (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent) Intermediate / Advanced level of Excel Ability to present complex financial information Experience producing statutory accounts Benefits include: Attractive pension scheme Attractive annual leave allowance of 27 days plus Bank holidays Various well being benefits Various discounts across a wide range of partners Strong work life balance with home working options
