Overview
Community Learning Disability Nurse Full Time 35 hrs per week, Equivalent NHS Band 6 Salary £33,291 - £37,842 per annum This position is available from 1st June 2020 An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Merton Team for People with a Learning Disabilities. We are looking to recruit a full time Community Nurse Specialist with post qualification experience to join the integrated health and social care team. The successful applicant will adopt a person centred approach to promote the health and wellbeing of adults with a learning disability in Merton. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will need to be flexible, creative and enthusiastic to help our committed team to provide an excellent service to people with learning disabilities. The Community Learning Disability Nurses work closely with individuals, families and other agencies with the aim of meeting health needs, promoting independence, developing valued lifestyles and maintaining quality lives in the community. The successful candidate will have access to managerial and clinical supervision from the Senior Nurse alongside opportunities to access on-going training and support from other health and social care professionals.
