Team Manager-Referral and Assessment Team Reference: 119682 Type: Permanent Salary (£): Up to £52,482 depending on experience Job summary: This local authority uses a new operating system which combines the functions of the Children's, Adults, Public Health and Housing services so information is easy to collate, is looking for an experienced Team Manager to lead their R&A team. The advantage of working within this system is that social workers spend less time chasing information and are able to focus on providing an excellent service. The team you will manage will be a small team of only 4 social workers, meaning fewer cases to oversee and therefore a more manageable workload. For this reason, this post would also be ideal for an Assistant Team Manager who wants to progress. Training on specialist subjects such as child sexual exploitation and gangs will also be provided, as this local authority recognises its importance.
