Overview

We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people with brain injuries. We are looking for additional Support Workers in the Chichester area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you. This is a position for waking nights on Mondays and alternating Sundays. The shift start at 22:00pm until 9:30am. The rate of pay ranges from £10.28 to £12.18 per hour. We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check and 25 days of paid annual holiday.You will have 24/7 contact with the office, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs. About the Client You will be working as part of the team that supports a young teen who lives with his family in the area of Chichester. Due to his mobility restrictions you will be helping him with all aspects of personal care. He has epilepsy, so you will in the property over night to ensure his safety and attend any of his medical needs. He is very bright although he can come across a little shy to begin with. The right candidate must be passionate, perceptive and adaptable to make a difference in this teenager's life, to encourage his development and see him grow to his full potential. Successful candidates must be able to drive. Experience with children or young adults will also be helpful for this role.
