We are currently recruiting for a Formulation Scientist to join our team based in Guildford, Surrey on a full-time, permanent basis. Joining this dynamic company as a Formulation Scientist you will develop formulations for clinical studies, including pre-formulation, formulation characterisation and transfer to GMP manufacturing. Core responsibilities will include: Performing pre-formulation solubility and stability studies. Preparing and characterising formulations for development and stability studies Designing and developing appropriate testing techniques for developed formulations or APIs Writing study plans for allocated projects as per project proposals Providing project updates on formulation development and stability reports Applicant requirements: University degree in a related field (pharmacy, chemistry etc.) Pharmaceutical industry experience working in a Formulation/Pre-Formulation role Experience in topical semi-solids and/or inhalation highly desirable Experience of other dosage forms (solid dosage or liquid orals) considered Good knowledge of GMP and working within a GMP environment Organised and methodical approach to work with excellent attention to detail Good communication skills Company Benefits: MedPharm offers competitive salaries as well as an attractive employee benefits package.
