Job Profile for Mechanical Design Engineer - Machinery - MC141113 Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-estabilished manufacturer of Material Handling Machinery based in the Sittingbourne area seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience within Material Handling, Automation or Special Purpose Machinery. Mechanical Design Engineer - Machinery Position Overview Carrying out the Conceptual Design and Development on a range of Special Purpose Machinery and associated Tooling. Project managing the development of new machinery, including leading progress meetings and coordinating between departments. Creation of detailed Production Drawings for the manufacturing team Oversee the introduction of newly developed tools into the manufacturing department Assist the Continual Improvement culture of the business and maintain quality and health & safety standards at all times. Mechanical Design Engineer - Machinery Position Requirements Proven background within Mechanical Design or Project Management Proficient with 3D CAD systems ideally Autodesk Inventor Degree qualified or equivalent is desirable but not essential Experience working within a Material Handling, Special Purpose Machinery or Automation related industry Strong communication skills to coordinate Based in a commutable distance of Sittingbourne, Kent. Full UK Driving License Mechanical Design Engineer - Machinery Position Remuneration Salary £25,000 - £40,000 Dependent upon experience Full-time, Permanent role, Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:15, Friday 07:30 - 15:00 28 Days Holiday, Inc.
