Overview

Are you an experienced Lead / Senior Project Manager with proven knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile and Waterfall methods (able to utilise Waterfall style reporting but Agile ways of working)? Looking for a fresh new challenge? Are you someone who would relish the challenge of taking on a newly created role where you will be managing multiple Software Projects? If so then please read on, this could be the perfect role for you Here your key focus will be to manage multiple IT & Software projects whilst managing a small team of Business Analysts, contract resource and 3rd party external suppliers as and when project needs arise and your remit will encompass Project Governance and Oversight , Stakeholder management and Supplier relationship management. Ideal candidates will possess experience in most of the following areas; Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and both Agile and waterfall methodologies Demonstrable experience of managing budgets , procurement and contracts negotiation Governance processes for software projects and the use of governance frameworks Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast paced Agile environment Experience of matrix management Demonstrable experience of leading successful IT change in an organisation Internet of Things / Enterprise Service Bus / Message Queue technology Experience of digital platforms including web sites and mobile applications etc Experience of managing projects that entail collaboration with multiple vendors Handover of projects to live environments with support processes in place The working environment is a mix of Waterfall & Agile and is very fast paced with a culture that is collaborative and our client is offering a highly competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes; up to 30% Bonus, Car Allowance, Bupa Healthcare, up to 10% Pension, Life Assurance and employee discounts.
