Overview
Full-time, temporary, Finance Manager, £20 an hour, Bristol. Your new company A Bristol Charity are looking for a Finance Manager to update financial processes. Your new role As the successful candidate, you will review all financial processes, including purchases to pay, accounts receivable, cash collection, storage and banking, payroll and staff expenses reimbursement. You will make suggestions for updating, streamlining and improving these processes. You will facilitate the introduction of the cloud-based version of Quickbooks and assist in any training required. You may also assist in the migration of data. You will progress the move away from cash handling and promote cashless transactions. You will help construct a budget for 2020/21 in conjunction with the Treasurer and Director. You will assist in disaggregating the budget to project level. You will assist in setting up a system using Quickbooks to produce timely and accurate management accounting reports for the Board. What you'll need to succeed You must have experience of using Quickbooks or similar. You must have management accounting experience, preferably within a charity or small business context. You must be a good communicator and be able to promote good practice to finance and non-finance staff. You will be qualified or qualified by experience.
