Overview

Fantastic opportunity to join a market leading business. Credit Team Leader. Birmingham Hays Credit Management is supporting an international business, who is a market leader here in the UK, supplying products to the construction and automotive industries. Your new role Supervising a team of 5, looking after the business' largest national and internal clients, circa 2000 accounts. Your role as team leader will be to ensure the highest levels of customer service are maintained whilst maximising the monthly cashflow. Your main duties will include: Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders within the business Ensure cash collection targets are met and overdue debt is kept to minimum Support the team in dealing with escalated customer queries Manage, develop and mentor the team, conduct appraisals and set targets inline with company process and procedure Ensure the team are using the automated processes and tools to the best ability including an automated cash allocation tool. Pro-actively manage your own ledger, placing accounts on and off stop and attending client visits. Attend weekly and monthly meetings with the AR Manager What you'll need to succeed 5 years worth of AR/Credit experience Experience in supervising/mentoring a team Ideally CICM qualified or studying towards Understanding of Credit Risk Intermediate Excel skills: Vlookups, Pivot Tables What you'll get in return Flexible working hours and an early finish on a Friday Competitive salary and study support 25 days annual leave, rising to 29 with years of service What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
