Contract DV Cleared Automation Tester • MoD Defence Customer • 12 Month Signup • £450 - £550 per day (DOE) • IT Infrastructure & Software Service Expansion Project • Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire We are working with a major name in Defence Intelligence Systems who are recruiting due to winning an expansion of IT Infrastructure and Software Services. We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join a team working with cutting edge solutions within the Defence domain. You will be taking on a role with a combination of hands-on and hands-off responsibilities, as you coordinate and help to carry out the test activity within a Service transition team. You will deliver staged testing and customer acceptance of a large and complex IT and Software System. This role will see you responsible for executing against the established test strategy and plans, whilst overseeing the production and review of system and subsystem test scripts. You will need to be comfortable taking ownership of: The acceptance strategy, ensuring traceability with the requirements manager. The integrated Test, Evaluation and Acceptance Plan and Contract Deliverables Ensuring the Currency of the Verification, Validation and Requirements Matrix. Coordinating with the wider team to implement the integration, test and acceptance activities Please note, we are only able to consider candidates holding current DV Clearance for this contract. Candidate Requirements Experience developing, maintaining and executing automated and manual test scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing such as Robot Test/Selenium Demonstratable experience in carrying out system integration, testing and customer system acceptance A proven history within defence or MoD security environments and requirements Strong hands-on experience with tools and processes used of IV&V of complex IT systems Expertise in the integration and configuration of COTS and bespoke software to meet defined system requirements. Experience at tracking and reporting progress against the schedule of the test and acceptance deliverables and testing activities. Experience of software and systems engineering gained don large, complex and secure systems Current DV Clearance Desirable Experience working within an IT Infrastructure Framework Experience of Selenium or a similar software testing framework Experience within Windows Linux based systems Experience working within virtualized environments Experience testing distributed IT Architectures Knowledge and experience within GIS, Image Processing and Mapping production software.
