Overview
A leading camera and lighting equipment rental company is looking for a Data Business Analyst to help drive continued business success. This a new role and will suit a driven self-starter with excellent analytical skills. Key responsibilities: Take on the ownership of the data held on Hire Track NX and drive the data cleansing project. Monitor data and liaise with various department heads to ensure correct processes are in place to maintain data integrity. Tackle the challenge of extracting business intelligence from large data sets. Ability to see beyond the numbers Proactively suggest ways to improve processes and visualisation that give insightful views of key business issues and opportunities Maintain fixed asset register, additions and disposal. Support marketing department in CRM activity. Weekly and monthly reporting of KPI’s to managers and management. Managing various ad-hoc projects set out by management to help them improve processes and deliver efficiencies Essential skills and requirements: 2-3 years of experience working as Data Analyst ideally gained in high volume retail or rental business environment. A self-starter and ability to work on own initiative. Good interpersonal, communication, people and organisational skills, with an eye for detail. Strong experience and knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries to extract data. Knowledge of visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Crystal reports etc.) Knowledge of Hire Track NX rental software would be advantageous. Have good command of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Access and ability to build financial models. Ability to cope under pressure and work to tight deadlines
