Overview
We are working with a boutique financial services company in London who are looking for an experienced paraplanner to join their team. Dealing with a variety of cases from retirement planning, investment, inheritance tax planning to personal wealth and corporate planning. You will be the point of contact for client queries, working closely with the adviser providing technical support. The Role To provide technical support to financial planners, reporting to the senior paraplanner: Research and undertake technical assessments of cases submitted by Advisers. Analysing client’s circumstances, portfolios and objectives and preparing appropriate reports. Produce compliant and technically accurate suitability letters and reports Assist in answering client queries give them a service which surpasses their expectations Liaise with compliance department regarding technical queries Preparing for client meetings including checking that all compliance paperwork is present. Undertaking fund performance comparisons Completing the FCA pension switching and replacement product templates Building and maintaining client relationships Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Company discretionary bonus scheme Exam support and progression 25 days’ holiday, Pension and Life Assurance Requirements Previous experience in a Paraplanning role (specifically writing suitability reports and assisting with pension transfers) Level 4 Diploma qualified or near, working towards Chartered status is highly desirable Excellent technical knowledge of pensions and investments Knowledge or use of adviser office or similar Apply Now Please click apply to be considered for this fantastic opportunity.
