Senior Control Engineer Based out the outskirts of Cambridge, one of our amazing Technology manufacturing clients are seeking a Senior Control Engineer to join their world-class engineering team. Your Responsibilities Operating in the field of specialist process machinery for nanotechnology, you will primarily be tasked with overseeing the design of electrical control and software design for the machinery. The role will involve a mixture of electrical and control system design, as well as hands-on control engineering, such as test, validation, implementation of design into the systems. · Electrical, Control & Software Design · Design, implement and test control software used in automated machinery · Integrate API’s for process control · Set-up, configure and test software on new development systems Ideal Candidate Profile We all know that businesses will not get everything they are asking (rarely anyway) however if you have experience or tick several of the below points, chances are they would be interested in meeting you · A Degree in a Electrical/Control Engineering or very strong industry experience · Good level of experience working with design of automated technology · PLC Programming (Beckhoff) · Competent with E-PLAN · Knowledge of machinery and electrical standards · Experience working in a technology consulting or high-tech manufacturing environment Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to create ideas and offer technical solutions in short timescales, as well as the ability to manage several projects at one time.
