Overview
A leading manufacturer to the Automotive sector has a new vacancy for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Working a three shift rotation (Monday to Friday) you will be an experienced maintenance professional and will be tasked with reactive & preventative maintenance on a range of manufacturing & automation equipment. Commutable from: Birmingham, Marston Green, Water Orton, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Tamworth, Lichfield. Rate: £ 40,000 - £ 4 4 , 000 p.a. overtime pension life assurance. Suitable for: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Service Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Enginee r, Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The Role The Maintenance Engineer will support a range of production and automation equipment within the plant. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance for the production areas and additional support for the facility itself. The successful candidate will be tasked with carrying out ongoing and reactive maintenance work across the plant, working in conjunction with other maintenance members to ensure constant running of all plant equipment and facility effectiveness. Key responsibilities will be to provide TPM to production and engineering ensuring that all maintenance tasks, e.g. rectification of production breakdowns, continuous improvement and planned maintenance is carried out efficiently and on time. The Person Previous experience within fast paced manufacturing environment Fault finding experience (On robotic cells) PLC experience An experienced maintenance professional Continuous Improvement knowledge Ability to adapt and flex to a changing environment and business needs.
