Purposeof the Role We are looking for Days Based Multi-skilled Technicians to join us on permanent basis at the home of chocolate - Cadbury's Bournville Manufacturing site. The role will Provide a comprehensive maintenance service to support local and Bournville Engineering objectives. The position is working a day base pattern, providing a technical service primarily within Standard Manufacturing. KeyResponsibilities * To work individually, as a member of a team, or a number of teams, jointly responsible for the achievement of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Environmental and Behavioural targets. * To deliver planned, corrective and reactive maintenance tasks as prioritised. Support and carry out projects to ensure optimum utilisation of plant and equipment. Full utilisation of the SAP PM system. * To ensure maximum uptime is maintained through the adequate supply of parts and by closely monitoring stocks, reordering and adding new items to stores when necessary. * To conduct plant/machine inspections and risk assessments to identify potential problems (Safety, Quality, Reliability...) and ensure necessary tasks are incorporated within the overall plan. * To assist in all aspects of Plant changeover, Special clean, i.e. stripping, overhaul of parts, rebuild, test and assist production with start-up. * To be part of small group activity meetings to discuss continuous improvement projects, and deliver improvement activities. * To assist in planned maintenance events. * To carry out reactive tasks as prioritised. * To assist in small and large scale project work supporting installation of new equipment * To work closely with Contractors and Operators, ensuring they meet and are complying with the performance standards of the department. Qualifications Days Based Shift Pattern Details This role involves working on a day base pattern with 10% flexibility allowance to cover night shift or weekend.
