MB186 - Full Stack Software Engineer Location: Manchester Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hrs a week, flexi-time between 9am - 5.30pm. Additional Benefits: Ride-to-work, profit-share and referral bonus schemes, Up to 30 days holiday a year (starting at 24 days plus an extra day for every year worked). Single Source Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Full Stack Software Engineer on behalf of our client based in Chester. They require an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer with strong PHP, Java, C#, cloud and strong cyber security experience to support their ever expanding team. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to work for an established organisation and to grow from within. Duties and Responsibilities of a Full Stack Software Engineer: Support in a variety of projects, ranging from Android and iOS apps, to heavy-load websites and multi-player gaming environments. Will also include working on back-end systems across most projects. Be an active contributor to the execution of our Digital and Technology strategy. Supporting some major and exciting national and international clients. Skills and Qualifications required from a Full Stack Software Engineer: At least 3 years of commercial experience. In-depth experience of a first object-oriented language (PHP, Java, Python or C#). Good working knowledge (commercial or personal) of a second object-oriented language. Experience using MySQL or Postgres, native SQL as well as via an ORM. Experience managing both cloud and dedicated hosting environments, preferably in a containerised environment. Strong cyber security best practise knowledge. Experience working in an Agile project environment. Demonstrable problem-solving ability. A strong desire to learn new technologies and methodologies.
