Maintenance Engineer Location - Birmingham Salary - £28,000 Basic OTE 38K with shift and Overtime pension, 33 days holidays and excellent overtime available. Shifts Available – Double days – two weeks 6:00am – 2:00pm then 1 week 2:00pm – 10:00pm The Company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an electrical Maintenance Engineer with an electrical qualification s to join our client. They are a large local business based in Birmingham who have been established for over 60 years. Our client supplies various Automotive products to some of the largest OEMs all over the world. This well-known and Automotive manufacturing group have recently acquired a number of large contracts. Growing year on year our client now turnover 25million in the UK . Our client is an industry leader and has a great reputation in the market and a huge order book, so job security is guaranteed. Lots of training and development Overview Maintenance Engineer Role You will be working on foundry equipment, furnaces, large presses, cranes, conveyors various other equipment. Carrying out reactive maintenance on production equipment and machines across all the production facilities. The role will be 70% reactive and 30% PPM driven. You will be encouraged to have a direct input into the continuous improvement culture and have individual project ownership as you grow your career within the company. Carry out immediate repairs of production equipment and machines in the case of breakdowns with regards to all elements of failure, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic etc., representing Production areas The Candidate The Maintenance engineer formally qualified Electrically Experience working in a manufacturing background is essential The Benefits Salary - £28,000 OTE 38K with shift allowance and overtime Our client currently has bonus scheme paying out every week Excellent overtime available. Will look at candidates who are in engineering roles and want to step up into leadership in the future.
