Overview

Job Title - Junior IT Support Engineer Contract - Permanent Location - South East London / Kent Salary - GBP25,000 - GBP28,000 Job Purpose: Provide 1st and 2nd line IT Support to onsite and remote users providing a first point of call to users · Triage calls in Jira Helpdesk and prioritize business critical requirements, escalating to 3rd line where necessary · Responsible for reviewing and reporting start of day logs and health checks and resolving issues that arise. · Responsible for daily backup completion and collection · Managing AD accounts including Azure and Okta accounts · Setting up new workstations and laptops · Involvement in networking · Installation of software for internal customers · Requisitioning new hardware\software · Involved in monthly weekend maintenance and patching of hardware and software · Working within third party suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve issues · Server access will become available for a variety of systems maintenance upon experience within the role including the VM Hypervisor systems · Involvement in project work with 3rd line support · This is a tremendous growth opportunity for a very bright, confident and energetic individual with a can-do attitude to join our team that is keen to learn and expand their horizons in a technical role focused on Dev/OPS.
