Our client is a successful consultancy providing MEP engineering. By continuously developing staff, they maintain technical, management and creative expertise at the leading edge of engineering. Due to an increasing workload, our client is now actively seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their passionate design team working on site near Cambridge on a pharmaceutical project. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will join an established team on site near Cambridge, working on a pharmaceutical project on an initial 6 month contract. As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be doing hands on design using Hevacomp and have the ability to take control of projects when required. Essential Requirements: Dynamic individuals with a strong HVAC background First-rate communication skills Knowledge of existing standards and ability to develop requirements for new building service projects Previous pharmaceutical/critical systems projects. Experience doing site surveys, heat calculations, steam and ventilation systems design Working knowledge of technical software including Hevacomp and IES Previous experience on projects involving fluid movement Excellent time management skills Drive and determination Good supervisory qualities and experience Highly motivated with the drive to take on new challenges The ideal candidate will be degree qualified and have experience working on pharmaceutical projects.
