Assistant Management Accountant - London - Up to £35,000 Benefits A cutting-edge medical company based in London are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their collaborative and friendly team. The Role You will be tasked with assisting the Finance Manager with monthly management accounts, both in the UK and subsidiary accounts located in the US, Australia and India. You'll take ownership of the sales ledger function, and raise all sales invoices and credit control. As the Assistant Management Accountant, your daily duties will involve, but won't be limited to: Preparation of revenues, including service revenues workings Costing of sales workings Multi-currency bank reconciliations Accruals and Prepayments Maintaining the fixed asset register Reviewing all purchase ledgers for any unallocated or unresolved supplier balances Commission calculations and reconciliations Assisting the Finance Manager with the filing of financial statements in subsidiary countries Assisting with year-end duties and annual audits Sales returns and filings of quarterly federal tax returns, Sunshine Act, Form 1099 in the US About You The ideal candidate will have proven and demonstrable experience of working within a finance department, with strong knowledge of the sales and purchaser ledger functions. As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will have experience of carrying out month end tasks including accruals, prepayments, intercompany reconciliations, deferred and accrued revenue workings and maintenance of the fixed asset register. You will need to have some international experience, ideally the US, combined with an understanding of the basic accounting payable principles. As the Assistant Management Accountant, you'll have strong attention to detail combined with excellent analytical skills. You will be able to work independently, taking the initiative to solve problems with minimal supervision. Any experience of using Sage 200, PaperLess or WebExpenses is highly beneficial but not mandatory.
