You will be required to ensure that there is on-going development of the business groups MI/BI solutions, in turn providing a robust information foundation to the organisations Core MI & Reporting, for both internal and external data feeds. BI Developer duties will include, but not limited to: Provide MI, reporting and data throughout the group and to external partners Complete and evidence full validation of MI and reports Ensuring MOI reports are consistent and adhere to data governance Creating/following development frameworks Communicating technical advice to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ensure development work is fully tested, providing evidence and outcomes of all tests Streamlining/reviewing existing processes and reporting methods, making recommendations for improvements where necessary Gathering and documenting requirements Reducing manual processes, using automation wherever possible As the BI Developer you will be required to possess: Previous experience working within an MI Developer position Experience with some of but not limited to: SSMS/T, T-SQL, Dynamic SQL, SSRS, SSIS, Cognos, Tableau An awareness and experience in MI best practices Up to date knowledge of technology and methods in the data space Commercial/operations awareness of data With a salary on offer of up to £50,000 this is a great opportunity to develop your career further and have an impact on the BI/MI across the business group.
