Overview
Purpose of the Role: To develop, maintain and enhance the Visualfiles Claims Management platform for Haven Claims effective operation, working within an Agile/Scrum Team consisting of Developers, Business Analysts and Testers. Provide technical advice and strategic guidance to Business Analysts and Product Owners. To code review the teams work, provide feedback and guidance when required. Manage and progress user stories through set workflows and develop Visualfiles to agreed acceptance criteria. Share responsibility within the team to resolve Visualfiles service desk tickets with a clear focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery. The opportunity to work with the Visualfiles SDK and develop technical skills with C# Key Responsibilities: Development and maintenance of the Visualfiles platform and associated systems and integrations (where appropriately skilled). Review code produced by other Developers. Review acceptance criteria produced by IT Business Analysts. Prioritising and resolving Visualfiles/Development service desk tickets. Provide continued training and knowledge share with members of the Development Team. Contribute to continual improvement within the IT Department and Company. Partake and contribute in the Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Retrospective and Sprint Planning session. Experience: Preferred Experience developing software using the Microsoft .Net technologies. Experience with WebServices and other web technologies as well as Visualfiles SDK. A background in Insurance, using claims workflows would be advantageous, but not essential. Experience using Jira Software in an Agile/Scrum environment. Essential Extensive experience developing all aspects of the Visualfiles system. Ability to manage prioritised task lists and manage time accordingly. Possess excellent communications skills with a strong attention to detail.
