Overview

We are currently working with a client who requires Residential Child Care Officers to work within a residential children’s home based in Billinge Salary: £17,000 – £22,100 per annum Hours: Full time Location: Billinge Duration: Permanent The residential home caters for boys between the ages of 7 and 19, who display Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties. Our client also provides care for children who have learning disabilities and/or on the Autism Spectrum. Role: You will provide a supportive environment so that the Children and Young People can begin to develop self-respect and self-confidence. You will be required to manage extremely challenging situations whilst maintaining high levels of empathy and understanding. You must have a resilient personality in order to support children and young people who can demonstrate abusive and aggressive behaviour.
