Overview
We put people first We’re looking for Bank Support Workers to work with us at Walton-on-Thames supporting adults and young adults who have learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and behaviours that challenge. As a Bank Support Worker you will; Accompany the people we support to activities, appointments etc. Assisting with day to day living tasks such as cooking and cleaning Ensuring the people we support are encouraged to reach their full potential Personal Care (e.g. using the toilet, bathing) Work on a zero hour contract covering different shifts throughout the day, evenings and nights spread across the week, weekends and Bank holidays. Shifts are on a rota basis so as a Bank Support Worker you will have flexibility to plan your time accordingly. Our hourly pay is; Basic pay Monday to Friday £8.72 per hour Waking Nights (Monday to Friday) £10.00 per hour Saturday Day Shifts £10.25 per hour Saturday Night Shifts £10.50 per hour Sunday Day Shifts £11.25 per hour Sunday Night Shifts £11.50 per hour Avenues Group is a specialist provider of adult social care, supporting people with complex needs to enjoy life and live as independently as possible in their own homes.
