Maintenance Engineer (DAYS) Crewkerne £30,000 to £34,000 DOE Overtime Opportunities 25 Holidays Bank Holidays Pension Training Opportunities Maintenance Engineer required for a well established and stable manufacturer. They pride themselves on being a brand associated with quality and supporting local traders. They offer a days based role within a friendly and supportive team. The role would suit applicants from ANY mechanical engineering/maintenance background. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a production/manufacturing/FMCG environment. Applicants with any electrical experience will have a considerable advantage. Reporting into the engineering manager the role will involve predominantly mechanical maintenance on a range of high speed production machinery. The role will involve attending plant breakdowns and serving of production equipment. Occasionally you will get involved with project based work/facilities maintenance when required. As part of the role you will be required to take part in a 1 in 4 Call out rota, which will be paid at an additional rate. Monday to Friday On Call Rota - 1 in 4 Weekends The Person: Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer Basic electrical skills would be advantageous but are NOT essential Will ideally transfer from a production/manufacturing
