Overview
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor based in near Leominster . This is a full time, temporary contract for 4 to 6 months (must be available 1st May to 31st August 2020) offering a competitive salary of £28,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent upon experience). The role: The Senior HR Advisor will provide an effective global HR support service, delivering operational advice consistent with company and legal requirements as part of the HR team. Key responsibilities: The key responsibilities for this role include providing an advisory service in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, disciplinary and grievance matters, organisational change and employee relations matters across Britain and Ireland. You will support managers in identifying and facilitating appropriate performance interventions, employee relations cases in real time, issuing interview invitations and outcome letters, attending meetings and taking notes. You will lead the management of casework including making recommendations, giving advice and support, and liaising with third parties where appropriate. The successful candidate will keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and HR best practice, knowledge sharing with the team. You will provide support, guidance and line management to HR Advisor, Recruitment Advisor, HR Administrator and the Canteen Manager, and manage the Cleaning team. What we're looking for: We are looking for a highly organised individual able to prioritise work in a busy environment, someone who shows determination and drive for excellent results. You must have excellent communication skills, be a good team player, be proactive and enthusiastic. If you have generalist HR experience gained within a commercial environment, are CIPD qualified (level 3 minimum), and have a sound knowledge, understanding and practical application of Employment Law this position may be of interest.
