Overview
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join a reputable growing business in the Sheffield area as they look to expand their team This position is a rare and exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will be responsible for reporting and monitoring the financial progress of projects/the business, being a supporting function to help the management team pre, during and post key projects Duties & Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst will include: Support, advise, develop and innovate improvements to business processes and business structure Produce regular and accurate reports for the Commercial Manager Production of budgets Cost reporting, planning and forecasts for projects and the business Make cost checks and proactively resolve discrepancies KPI production Monitor actual project performance against budget Liaise with departmental managers Experience required: Advanced IT skills, including Excel (pivot tables / v look ups) Experience of working within an analytical position Keen eye for detail Cost reporting, planning and forecasting experience Ability to work well as a team Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels As well as offering a highly competitive salary, my client has a desirable benefits package including a 35 hour working week, 36 days holiday, pension scheme, flexible working including working from home & many more Elevation Accountancy & Finance is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment focusing on Accountancy Support positions in South Yorkshire.
