REED is a specialist provider of permanent, contract, temporary and outsourced recruitment solutions We require a Project Assistant / PMO Assistant to cover an existing workload within Greater Manchester Police, based in Newton Heath, Manchester. This is an interim position initially for 5 months with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload. The post holder must be able to provide Programme Management Office (PMO) admin support; To provide clerical and administrative support to the project in a manner that contributes to the smooth running of the programmes and projects, such as setting up meetings, updating actions & decisions log, document storage, contact point for project queries and updating key project documentation. The post holder will also be expected to support the Business Analyst by documenting process maps and developing step-by-step guides for new processes and systems. Experience of working on a business change project or programme is advantageous. Ability to identify when work demand cannot be met and use initiative to seek guidance from colleagues. The post holder will report directly to the Project Manager. Willingness to be an agile worker and attend meetings in a variety of locations within Greater Manchester.
