Senior PMO Analyst (12-month FTC) Salary c £30k Great Benefits Manchester An opportunity to work for an organisation that changes lives for the better globally. Initially signed off as a 12-month FTC, there is a strong possibility of this being made into a permanent role. The role will be a PMO manager for a large IT-led transformation programme. Role Responsibilities: · Supports the following of best practice on assigned Projects or Programmes (specifically, lifecycle governance, prioritisation, resource management, assurance, financial controls, tracking, reporting and other PMO related items). · Actively engages with others working in the PMO area in other functions and teams to help share learning, problem solve and build a community of practice that delivers value to the organisation · Management of the Project Budget and alignment with organisational reporting cycles · Support the project / programme manager in programme closure and lessons learned process · Maintain close relationships between the programme and project and business areas, to ensure responsibilities and dependencies are clearly defined and understood · Facilitate and take responsibility for the creation and maintenance of programme and project plans working with the programme managers and team, in line with the standards in place · Provide regular updates to the Portfolio Office to ensure programme and project activities reflect the current status · Identify, track and monitor cross project dependencies and ensure that intra-programme and external dependencies are maintained on the dependency log and work with dependency owners to track and monitor delivery · Maintain the programme SharePoint site, include access, and keep documents up to date · Be the go-to point for Programme Manager and SRO on all aspects of programme data, including the provision of ad-hoc and tailored reports for specific audiences including Executive Board, Programme Boards and Steering Groups · Facilitate the monitoring, reporting and delivery planning of programme or project benefits · Support the Programme or Project Manager to establish and then implement the agreed risk, issue and change processes and assist the programme and project team in its delivery, proactively suggesting and implementing improvements where appropriate · Advise Programme Manager on and subsequently implement the agreed regular progress reporting mechanisms for all projects and assist the Programme Manager in preparing the monthly programme status report Please contact Tom Delaney & Bourton for further information This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89835153
