Overview
I am currently working with an extremely well established, international organisation based in North London to recruit for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity to join a stable business who are seeking to add to their team in the current market. This role will add to an existing finance team reporting to the Finance Manager. What does the role entail? Duties will include assisting the finance manager with producing monthly management accounts for a number of subsidiary companies in the UK and internationally, preparation of revenues, cost of sales reconciliations, multi-currency bank reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, maintaining the fixed asset register ownership of the sales ledger function including raising high value sales invoices and reviewing purchase ledger transactions. Additionally this role will take responsibility for intercompany transactions, filing tax returns, assisting with filing financial statements, month end and year end duties, plus supporting the wider finance team as required. What skills will you have? You will be an experienced finance professional who has a good working knowledge of a sales ledger function, previous experience carrying out month-end tasks such as accruals and prepayments, deferred and accrued revenue and maintaining the fixed asset register. You will ideally have international multi-currency experience and strong analytical skills. Experience of working with Sage 200 would be beneficial, as would knowledge of VAT and a proven ability to post and manage accounting entries. What is on offer?
