Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Loughton, Essex – 49k per annum excellent benefits A well-established global organisation based in the Loughton area are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their pioneering business. As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a range of production and ancillary equipment, ensuring optimum production performance, minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring reliability through a proactive approach to maintenance. You will also assist with the delivery of continuous improvement strategies and support/lead projects to improve equipment efficiencies. Duties include; Performing periodic maintenance checks and procedures on all production equipment in order to maximise equipment availability/performance. Reviewing and analysing data and use problem solving tools to identify areas of improvement. Responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner to ensure continuity of production, report findings and record solutions. Providing support and advice on potential operational and performance improvements including, training and documentation. Supporting the introduction of new equipment including Training, Installation, Commissioning, Customer handover and maintenance. The successful candidate will have a proven successful background in Maintenance Engineering with experience in Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical disciplines and the ability to read and understand technical Elec/Mech schematics It would be advantageous to have an understanding of PLC diagnostics and have knowledge in continuous improvement techniques including 5S, SMED, Lean and Six Sigma.
