Overview
Holme Lodge is a 19 bedded residential home which specialises in providing support to adults with complex physical disabilities. It is situated in the beautiful town of West Bridgford, on the outskirts of Nottingham. There are good public transport links, and we are close to excellent local amenities. We pride ourselves on our person centred support plans, which encourage our residents to purse their personal interests and hobbies including football, cricket and many others. We are currently recruiting for a passionate Support Worker to join our existing team, to provide assistance with care, personal support, daily living tasks and activities. This is a fulfilling and rewarding role, and the opportunity to make a real difference to our customers lives. Responsibilities for this role include: Provide full personal care including bathing, washing, toileting etc. Ensure effective communication is held between colleagues, our customers and their families. Provide support with daily activities in the community such as shopping, medical appointments, or days out. Maintain maximum independence, considering their physical and emotional needs. To ensure that record-keeping is maintained and updated in an accurate, timely, and confidential manner. Person Specification It will be evident to us that you have a clear passion for care and do genuinely care for the individuals within our services.
