Job Title: Payroll & Employee Officer Location: Wakefield Contract: Temporary Hours: Full Time Pay: £10.14 Per Hour A Local Authority in Wakefield are looking to recruit a Payroll & Employee Officer to join them on a temporary basis. Are you interested in working within Transactions / HR admin field, if so we may have the job for you. We currently have a temporary opportunity for a Payroll and Employee Officer. This role provides a high quality advice and payroll service to Council Services, schools and External organisations. The focus for this role is Council service recruitment, from requesting pre-employment checks to confirming all details to be set up on payroll. If you are confident and pro-active, can work flexibly and on your own initiative in a demanding environment, often working to tight deadlines, then we'd like to hear from you. In addition, you would need to have good IT and numerical skills, self-motivation and a positive attitude to change and understand the importance of confidentiality. We are looking for candidates who can also demonstrate excellent organisational skills, will be able to communicate effectively and have excellent customer service skills We are dedicated to the safeguarding of all children and young people whilst promoting their welfare and expect all staff and volunteers to share this responsibility. To be considered for this role you must; Have NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent subject relevant to the role / equivalent experience.
