If you are experienced and ambitious and looking for a position to really make an impact then this it This organisation is an incredibly exciting and well funded start up, so you will be joining a small team at present, where everyone rolls up their sleeves- Including the COO This role is well rewarded: You will be able to create a full procurement set up from scratch You will take pride in a 1st class research facility which will have a positive effect on the health of many You will be rewarded with a base salary of between £40,000- £45,000 and an exceptional pension contribution of up to 18% Great atmosphere, culture and facilities including on site gym Read the below and if you have the experience, the passion and want to discuss further then email me directly for immediate consideration: This is a small team environment and your role will see you being the stand alone procurement body, lots of exciting things on the agenda so will suit someone with passion, ambition, someone process driven and engaging (To help stakeholders appreciate and the understand the process) First on the agenda is applying your commercial and public sector procurement and tendering expertise in the set up and kitting out of their scientific research facilities. This organisation has a large CAPEX spend that you will manage, c£40 million. Your role here will cover all elements of the procurement process, sourcing, evaluating suppliers, negotiation of the contracts and the ongoing contract management. You will manage the end to end procurement process for all spend. Spend will be focussed on facilities, scientific equipment, research spend and other hard & soft FM. As a greenfield role there will also be plenty of emphasise on putting in place process and procedure for ongoing procurement. The ideal candidate would have the following experience: Knowledge of OJEU tendering Experience in the set up or transformation of a procurement function Great stakeholder engagement skills Ideally relevant category expertise- Facilities, Life Sciences, Research Finally, plenty of energy and enthusiasm and happy to muck in
