This organisation has a large CAPEX spend that you will manage, c£40 million. Your role here will cover all elements of the procurement process, sourcing, evaluating suppliers, negotiation of the contracts and the ongoing contract management. You will manage the end to end procurement process for all spend. Spend will be focussed on facilities, scientific equipment, research spend and other hard & soft FM. As a greenfield role there will also be plenty of emphasise on putting in place process and procedure for ongoing procurement. The ideal candidate would have the following experience: Knowledge of OJEU tendering Experience in the set up or transformation of a procurement function Great stakeholder engagement skills Ideally relevant category expertise- Facilities, Life Sciences, Research Finally, plenty of energy and enthusiasm and happy to muck in
