Overview
An exciting opportunity for an interim Finance Director to join a growing SME Group. A broad management role with financial responsibility for 5 business's within the UK, US and Europe. The Finance Director will be 1 of 4 constituting the Board, tasked with: Hands on consolidation of the monthly board pack for 5 entities Assisting with Merger & Acquisition projects Responsibility for the pensions and company secretary duties Person: The successful Finance Director will have operated at a similar level, as a Divisional Finance Director, Group Finance Director or Group Financial Controller. It is important that this person has influence outside of 'pure' finance and has a broader managerial role. It is important that we find a Finance Director, who can meet the following criteria: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Hands on Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Transactional Accounting Proven track record supporting business growth and maximising profitabilty Exposure at Board level, or business partnering at CEO/MD/GM level Worked for an SME or a smaller subsidiary of a larger business Manufacturing/engineering experience an advantage There will be some travel within the UK and (infrequently) abroad Company: The business is a small group of specialist manufacturing/engineering companies.
