Overview

NRG HR have an exciting opportunity for an Interim HR Manager to join a Charity in Newcastle for 3-6 months. As HR Manager you will contribute to a professional, high quality HR service to the charity’s management and staff on the full range of HR matters, ensuring legislation, policy and best practice are followed. Key duties and responsibilities: To provide advice and support to managers on employee relations issues including absence, performance management, redundancy, restructure and TUPE ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and legislation. To provide advice and support to Managers to enable them to carry out the recruitment of employees from vacancy identification through to appointment. To develop and implement a full range of Human Resources policies and procedures, to ensure they are in line with current legislation and best practice and to coach managers in the application of the policies and procedures To keep up to date with changes in employment legislation, best practice and development appropriate to the sector through personal research and attending appropriate external events. To review contracts of employment to ensure that they are up to date with current legislation and best practice. To keep accurate and up to date records in line with the GDPR. To support the collation and interrogation of accurate HR statistics for reporting purposes and to aid decision making within the Trust. To be flexible in their approach to work and be prepared to work at any location where the CEO decides they can contribute most effectively to the overall service. To represent Coquet Trust in a professional manner and maintain the good reputation of the organisation at all times. To attend training as required by the organisation and ensure that all members of the team are trained to the standard required for the service. To undertake any duties commensurate with the level of the post. You will be CIPD qualified level 5 or above and have experience of working in HR at a middle management level.
