Title: Personal Assistant Client: High Net Worth Individual Location: Central London, Mayfair Salary: c£45k Are you a Senior Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant to a High Net worth family or individual ? Do you have superb organisational skills ? Can you do basic book keeping ? Are you highly professional ? Are you self-motivated and able to work alone and on your own initiative ? An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for my client in their newly established Single-Family Office in Central London as their Personal Assistant. Already part of their families existing Private Office, they wish to differentiate their personal affairs and are thus opening their own SFO. This position requires a detail-oriented person who can act autonomously, who is professional and energetic. The Personal Assistant will take responsibility and ownership of the office organisation, project management, deadline compliance, bookkeeping and important documents and files. It is vital that the Personal Assistant is happy to work on their own initiative (certainly in the initial period), without support of colleagues. As this is the first hire, the Personal Assistant will need to set the office up from scratch (taking over the personal responsibilities for the Principal from the pre-existing Family Office) and set in place processes to manage all responsibilities. The Personal Assistant will be based predominantly in the office and be prepared to work independently. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, organized, calm mannered and highly professional - able to handle a constant to-do list. This is a key appointment with a lot of responsibility and an increasing workload, there will be an expectation for a willingness to be flexible should the need arise. Responsibilities will include: Diary Management Handling travel logistics Preparation of itineraries (researching hotels, places of interest and changing plans if required to at short notice) Handling basic bookkeeping tasks - personal accounting and investments Deal with correspondence, drafting replies as requested Work independently General Administration, Communication & Information flow Liaising as needed with household or personal staff Handling enquiries and requests in an appropriate manner The Personal Assistant will have: Previous experience in a similar role within a Family Office Excellent organisational skills Excellent written and spoken communication skills Proven ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and meeting strict deadlines Be proactive and empathetic, know what is going on and be supportive and anticipatory Ability to prioritise own work and an ability to think and plan ahead A flexible and mature approach and the ability to use initiative and common sense Ability to exercise tact and discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to complete set tasks Demonstrate common sense and good judgement keeping in mind the cost and quality of a service required. Strong MS office skills, extraordinary attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills. Fluent English Fluent Russian would be an advantage but not a necessity.
