Projects Solicitor - NQ-8 PQE - Edinburgh, Glasgow OR Perth A leading Scottish law firm is looking to grow their well established Energy and Strategic Land team The Firm & the Team: - Legal 500 listed and award winning firm - Established and ambitious team - Highly rewarding team environment The Role: - Handling commercial property related work on transactions and projects - The team deals with development and acquisition of energy projects onshore and offshore - Managing a range of legal and other professional skills needed to deliver large energy, infrastructure and strategic land projects - Providing legal advice and services in energy and property law, including Renewables and electricity Environment and planning Strategic land and complex title examination Due diligence Conveyancing, leases and other land rights - Developing and maintaining client relationships - More senior applicants will be expected to lead in the above areas and provide expertise in commercial contracts, advise on planning permission and environmental requirement and deal with funders Benefits: - Strong focus on development - Competitive salary - Generous benefits package - Rewarding environment The Candidate: - NQ - 8 PQE Highly motivated and commercially minded - Strong technical skills - Excellent communication skills for a client focussed approach - Energy or strategic land background is preferred but not necessary when candidates have a background in rural and commercial property - Scottish/English/dual qualified solicitor - Applications outside the stated PQE range will be considered How to apply: If you would like to find out more about this opportunity, please get in touch for a confidential conversation, or send a copy of your up-to-date CV.
