2nd Line Support Engineer Location is Daventry Salary Banding is 25k -32k Skills Microsoft, Installation, Migration, Exchange Server (), Windows Server () Active Directory, Small Business Server (SBS) 2003/08/11, Windows (8, 10), networks TCP/IP, DNS, SBS, VMware, VCP, Hyper-V, MS Office 365, Solarwinds We have a fantastic opportunity for a 2nd/ line Support Engineer to join a leading IT Support company (MSP) in the Daventry are to provide technical support to their Nationwide Customer base, including installation and migration services. The ideal Candidate will have a passion for Microsoft technologies, with strong commercial experience with Exchange, AD, Office365 etc (MS certification would be advantageous, although not essential) Utilising your experience of either onsite IT support or remote IT support work, You will be responsible for responding to all incidents, escalations, changes, problems and projects for customers within the SLA for that particular incident, setting the customer expectation regarding response and keeping the customer up to date with the status and progress throughout ownership or the life of the call. Experience with Routers / Firewalls (Watchguard / Cisco / draytek), Backup software (Backup Exec - Veeam) and Antivrus Software (Sophos - Symantec) would be highly beneficial, along with Office 365. It is essential you have supported VMWare and Hyper-V, and have a genuine interest in virtual technologies moving forward. We feel that this is a great opportunity for a passionate IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) with Strong Exchange experience and enjoys a split of Service desk and client side, getting hands on with installations and migrations of the latest IT technology.
