Overview
Despite being a relatively young business, our client has enjoyed an excellent period of growth over it’s first 5-10 years’ trading and is looking to hire another technically astute Paraplanner to complement its expanding Support Team. Our client has built a strong reputation in the local area for offering exceptional service and expert advice. It provides advice on a range of financial products from the whole of the market to a large client base on a wide regional scale. Themain purpose of the role is to carry out technical research for client meetings, pre-meeting research and assess client’s objectives, completing research to identify suitable solutions to meet client requirements. You will also write suitability reports and provide product recommendations for presentations, ensuring all advice meets the strict, ethical and compliance framework. In addition, you will also be responsible for completing portfolio reviews and rebalancing requests, ensuring that all quality assessments are carried out to a high level of accuracy and professionalism. You will be required to arrange and attend internal/ external client meetings and train and lead junior members of the team. Applicants must have sound technical knowledge and an understanding of retirement planning and investment solutions. Candidates will possess financial services qualifications and industry experience, along with the ability and desire to progress to Diploma level and beyond. Organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a diverse workload are paramount, as is the ability to manage relationships and expectations at all levels.
