Data Engineer London Up to £70,000 package This role is for an e-commerce company based in Central London. They have created a product offering which connects consumers to businesses across the UK - as data is core to their business, they are looking to grow and scale their data platform. They have a unique business offering which benefits both you as a consumer, and businesses across the UK - they help save consumers money, whilst also increasing the amount of people interacting with their client's brands. The Role As the Data Engineer, you will: Finish moving things from PHP to Python. Once this is complete, you will begin work on the core data estate. You will build a data ingestion framework to take data from their website/app and other 3rd party sources. You will build scalable data pipelines in Python, working with various areas of the business to gather requirements and meet business needs You will help research and bring new technologies to the team - eg Athena, Glue. Require Skills & Experience As the Data Engineer, you will have: Strong experience in Data Engineering Strong experience with both SQL and Python Experience working with public cloud technologies, ideally AWS.
