Overview
Jackson Hogg are exclusively recruiting for an HR Manager to be based in Newcastle. This is an exciting new role to join a market leading engineering firm on a permanent basis. As HR Manager you will look to further develop the HR function, working closely with the Managing Director in setting and delivering strategic HR and People initiatives whilst also working collaboratively to deliver pro-active, day-to-day operational HR services to line managers. You'll coach and mentor business stakeholders, providing advice and guidance. You'll be responsible for recruitment, learning and development, talent management and planning, engagement and day to day employee relations and absence management. This is a generalist remit and we are keen to speak with experienced HR Managers looking to work within a pacey and creative organisation where they can influence, add value and be thoroughly involved in day to day HR operations. Ideally you'll have a relevant degree or CIPD qualification and experience of operating within engineering / manufacturing sectors would be advantageous.
