Overview
Robert Half are pleased to be representing a niche manufacturing company based in central Leeds in the recruitment of a top quality Credit Controller for a short term cover. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to the ever changing and continually growing business. This is a fast paced role and would suit a strong team player with the ability to manage their own workload, who is invested in their own continual personal development. The main duties of the role will include; To achieve the monthly cash collection set for specific ledgers. Minimise overdue debts on specific ledgers. Keep all spreadsheets updated with all information regarding expected payments, etc. Build relationships with internal and external customers. Check all customer credit limits with our credit insurers and keeping these up to date and recorded. Advise credit control manager of any problems incurred with customer accounts. Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by the Senior Credit Controller or Finance Director / Group Accountant. Processing of Customer account applications Requirements; Strong communication skills Have strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook). Excellent telephone manner Ability to work under own initiative Take responsibility for own targets and personal development Team player 2 years Credit Control experience The role is full time, 9:00-17:30 Monday to Friday.
